School time

Annabelle has known her alphabet for about 8 months now, so I finally started working on recognizing those letters. We started with the letter A, big and small. We have books for each letter of the alphabet, we colored and painted pictures that start with the letter A, and cut and glue pictures to paper. Annabelle recognizes letters everywhere. She asks "Mommy, what does that spell?" We look at the letters and I help her sound it out. She is so smart! After she can recognize the letters and their sounds we will work on numbers. I am so happy that she loves learning and having school.

Hey Trish! Did you get a ciriculum with the pictures and everything to teach her the letters or did you put that all together yourself? I'd like to do something like that with Ava. She's the opposite. She recognizes her letters but doesn't know the abcs in order!
