Outdoor fun

Finally the weather is nice enough to go outside. It still rains at night leaving the ground wet and muddy but we just have to get out. Annabelle still loves the airplane swing; I'm sure the new baby will too. Because of the rain there are tons of interesting bugs to look at. And Annabelle finds them all. She says, "Yucky, bugs.". But they're still interesting. We recently bought a slide from Aunt Shannon. Annabelle's almost too big for it but I'm sure she'll be sliding for a few more years. The last picture is Annabelle riding a Winnie the Pooh truck that she got for her first birthday from Nana and Papa. I need to put new batteries in it so it will light up and play music but it takes a lot of batteries. Going outside is great, we play, smell flowers and watch the local wildlife. Hope we get to go out more. Rain, rain go away, come again another day!

19 Weeks

Yesterday, Aaron picked me and Annabelle up and took us to get our midterm ultrasound. I had such a good time looking at the little miracle with my family. Annabelle did pretty well. She watched the monitor for a little bit then she kept Aaron busy. Kacey did a great job finding all the important stuff, legs, arms, spine, and cerebellum. She also showed us the umbilical cord, which was kind of all over. When we finally saw the sex I knew right away what I was looking at. She asked if I could tell what it was and I said "I see some extra stuff down there." I was right. I think we were a little relieved and very happy to find out. We called many people when we left and had some celebratory frozen custard at Freddie's. May the preparations begin!

P.S. Don't you like my new hair cut?! It's the first cut I've liked in years.
